Hawkesdene

     I LOVE Hawkesdene, which is located between Asheville, NC and Atlanta, GA in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. I photograph weddings here often, typically four to five times each year, and I would love to photograph at Hawkesdene even more! Some reasons that I love Hawkesdene:
1. I would choose it for my own wedding because of its beauty, its open spaces, and that it can accommodate all of a couple’s guest count for an epic weekend long wedding event in the mountains.
2. The estate is incredibly beautiful with immaculate gardens, open green spaces, a trickling creek, bridges, alpacas and llamas, a barn, and more.
3. There are many ceremony sites to choose from and two main reception sites to choose from, so you can create your own perfect combination.
4. Hawkes Nest, their very own mountain top, is the most amazing and romantic backdrop for sunset photos.
5. The event staff is absolutely amazing to work with and truly value all the vendors that are on site for a wedding. Think: Team Wedding!
6. The on site catering staff creates food for every meal, and it is so very delicious. The salmon is my favorite!
7. There is plenty of room for the wedding party to get ready in a cabin, the bridal suite, the game room, and more!
8. The feel I get when at Hawkesdene is ‘come and stay a while’ and is incredibly welcoming.
     Overall, Hawkesdene has the most amazing spaces and an incredibly welcoming vibe! Plus, the photo opportunities are truly endless!
