Biltmore Estate maternity photography with mountain views, long flowy dresses, and glowing Mommas sure make amazing photographs! This maternity session has given me life! It’s been a while since I’ve photographed a maternity session (you know, COVID and all) and I am so happy to be back at it!
For this session we went to a new to me spot at Biltmore Estate in Asheville where the mountain views are endless. It’s truly a perfect spot since it’s quiet and immaculately landscaped for those close up photos I love, too. We spent the majority of our time at this location capturing both Amanda and Tyler together, along with Amanda by herself. We used all angles and spots on this knoll creating some gorgeous open sky photos, along with naturally framed photos using nearby trees and architectural elements, and lots of details, too.
After we finished on the knoll, Amanda and Tyler changed outfits and we moved down to the lagoon area for the rest of their session. At the lagoon, the long grass was a ton of fun to work with, and of course the view over the lagoon to the back of the house is always spectacular. Both spots gave us an incredible balance of nature, views, and Biltmore house itself. We had the most gorgeous evening with cooler temperatures and beautiful evening light, too! I love capturing Biltmore Estate maternity photography!
Amanda and Tyler rocked their time in front of my lens. They were relaxed, natural, and loved spending this time together celebrating sweet baby! Amanda is a photographer herself, so I knew she would be comfortable in front of the camera, but holy smokes she did an amazing job! From swaying in her long dress to being a master of the moody look, she was fantastic! Plus, at the time of our session, Amanda’s baby bump was the perfect size and shape (yes, there’s an art to maternity session timing!) Tyler is an excited Dad to be that was up for anything, too! With this combination we captured some fabulous evening photos with this Biltmore Estate maternity photography.
Congratulations, Amanda and Tyler! I cannot wait to meet your sweet babe and capture newborn photos for you, too!
