Erika and Ryan hosted their intimate wedding at Willow Falls Weddings & Events in Hendersonville, North Carolina and shared their big day with their closest family! Their Willow Falls wedding photography was perfect for their vision at this quaint, beautifully decorated, and gorgeous piece of property.
When I arrived at Willow Falls Events I instantly felt welcomed. I could hear the creek flowing through the water wheel, the leaves on the trees rustling while the breeze blew, and felt the warm bits of sun peeking through the foliage. As I stopped a moment to take it all in I saw natural moss walking paths through the woods, beautifully planted flower pots, and antique string lights all around. This venue on this day was nothing short of perfect!
As I entered the main house I was greeted by Erika’s family with their kind smiles and handshakes. They were dressed and excited for the big event. I checked in with Erika who was in her dressing room putting on her final touches with her mother. It was sweet to see only the two of them getting ready together and sharing in the special moments.
While the ceremony approached I couldn’t help but capture the beautiful wedding decor along with the amazing natural aspects of the venue. The stone work on the patios, natural rock staircases, and canopy of trees are incredible. Open air weddings are my absolute favorite style of wedding, and with it being in this beautiful and peaceful setting, it truly fed my soul.
As guests were arriving and the ceremony started there was a feeling of excitement and support. Family entered with big smiles on their faces, ready to help Erika and Ryan be married! Ryan’s sister officiated the ceremony with heartfelt stories, beautiful words of wisdom, and lots of love. There was much laughter, a few tears, and many sweet smiles shared between Erika and Ryan.
After the ceremony we capturing some photos on Willow Falls Events beautiful property, and then headed to downtown Hendersonville for couples photos. We parked along 3rd Avenue and walked up to Main Street, stopping along the way to capture photos in front of some beautiful historic buildings. Many passers by shared their congratulations and well wishes with Erika and Ryan. The sweet comments and uncontrollable gasps from seeing a newly married coupled made us giggle. Everyone was extremely kind, even hustling out of the way and stopping their cars in the street to give us a moment for photos.
Erika and Ryan’s wedding day was thoughtful, heartfelt, and a fantastic representation of them. It was wonderful to see a wedding executed from start to finish and be even more than the couple imagined.
Congratulations Erika and Ryan! I adored capturing your Willow Falls wedding photography!

Erika + Ryan’s wonderful review on Wedding Wire:
“Thankful and blessed! I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! I was planning wedding out of state and my wedding planner in Asheville recommended Jessica. When I viewed her website I knew she was the right photographer for my wedding. Once I spoke with Jessica over the phone she was very excited and wanted to make my wedding exactly how I imagined it but what makes her stand out is her genuine loving and kind personality. Since I was out of state Jessica was willing to help me find other vendors in the area! It’s inspiring to see someone who really loves their job and who brings genuine excitement to every event she works!”
