This gorgeous couple shared their big day with friends and family in a beautiful little valley among the Blue Ridge Mountains with Timber Hall Events wedding photography. From the amazing florals to the finest rustic details, this wedding was a perfect representation of them.
In the week leading up to Stephanie and Robin’s wedding day, all of the talk in western North Carolina was about the incoming hurricane. The forecast here in Asheville, NC called for strong winds, heavy rain, and major flooding. However, Mother Nature knew Stephanie and Robin had been dreaming about a quiet outdoor wedding with Timber Hall Events wedding photography and held off showering us with rain until late in the evening. Instead, she provided sprinkles of love all afternoon with a light summer breeze. It was an incredible feeling to know that nature stepped aside so that Robin and Stephanie could have the wedding day of their dreams.
When I arrived at Timber Hall Events the sun was shining, the venue was quiet, and the grand hall was perfectly decorated with elegant rustic decor. The bright white tablecloths were covered in simple place settings and beautiful rustic centerpieces. The chair covers each donned a beautiful big blue bow which was a stunning pop of color in the room. Off to the side was Stephanie and Robin’s sweetheart table with two love birds nestled on top. This room was absolutely gorgeous and ready for it’s big reveal!
Through the pre ceremony photos of Stephanie getting into her dress, photos of the bridesmaids, Robin and his groomsmen pinning boutonnieres, and guests arriving, both Stephanie and Robin were beaming with excitement. Both held true to their word of not sneaking a peek at one another all day, and I could feel the anticipation growing in them. When it came time for the ceremony to start, both Robin and Stephanie’s smiles had turned serious, and they each had a few tears in their eyes. They were very ready to meet at the altar and say “I do!” During the ceremony there were smiles, tears, and many sweet looks. It was a beautiful ceremony full of faith, trust, and support, and was sealed with a long awaited kiss.
Throughout the rest of the evening Stephanie and Robin were inseparable. They finished their wedding photos, held formal dances, greeted family and friends, and shared their first meal together as husband and wife. It was easy to see that these two have been waiting many months for this and can not be any happier than when together.
Congratulations Stephanie + Robin! I loved capturing your Timber Hall Events wedding photography!
