The North Carolina Arboretum Engagement Photography in Asheville | Carly + Adam

The pure connection between a couple is incredible, and when I capture this connection in the moments after a marriage proposal, it is straight fire! For Carly and Adam it was no different. Their joy, love, and excitement shined in every way during their North Carolina Arboretum engagement photography!

Adam contacted me a few weeks ago with his wishes to propose to Carly in Asheville, NC while they were visiting, and have his proposal photographed. This was their first trip to the area, so I recommended locations, timing, fibs to get her to the specific spot at The North Carolina Arboretum, and more. I LOVE helping my clients create the perfect proposal, and this was definitely a perfect proposal!

Adam had a wonderful idea to walk Carly through the gorgeous manicured gardens at The North Carolina Arboretum and ask his big question in one of the most beautiful spots on the property, Blue Ridge Court. It is an open green lawn surrounded by big beautiful trees and pathways, and boasts a mountain ridge view. It is truly a great spot to get engaged!

One unique piece about this proposal is that both of their families were present. Of course since this was a surprise proposal Carly didn’t know her family was nearby. They were hiding in the bushes trying their best to contain their excitement! They did a wonderful job, and as soon as Adam proposed, they popped out of the bushes in celebration! It is such incredible memory for all of them and I loved capturing it all during their North Carolina Arboretum engagement photography!

Carly and Adam’s families went one step further and set up a beautiful picnic for them all to enjoy together. It was full of delicious local food, champagne, festive balloons, and more. It was such a nice touch and a great way to help them celebrate!

I am beyond excited for Carly and Adam and I loved photographing this amazing time for them!
