This beautiful fall proposal at Biltmore Estate was absolutely magical! On the shore of the quiet lagoon with the grand house sitting on the hill, Zach led Kaitlyn to this incredible spot and asked her his big question. Of course she said “YES!” while this Biltmore Estate engagement photographer captured the moment!
When Zach contacted me and asked me to capture his engagement proposal photography to Kaitlyn, he knew exactly what he wanted. He wanted to propose at Biltmore Estate, in a private area, with a fabulous view. When he told me that, as a Biltmore Estate engagement photographer, I knew exactly which spot to recommend, and Zach loved it! I loved it too, not only because it’s one of my favorite spots on the estate, but with the early fall colors and feel, it was so very beautiful!
The day of the proposal Zach led Kaitlyn right past me as I sat pretending to take in the beauty of the lagoon. As soon as they approached the proposal area, I popped up and started capturing every moment! Zach had the hugest smile on his face as he asked Kaitlyn to marry him, and Kaitlyn was beyond excited to say “YES!” It was a beautiful proposal, in one of the most beautiful spots, and I loved capturing it!
Many guests who visit Biltmore Estate don’t know about this incredible area near the lagoon. Most drive right past it on the opposite side, still not knowing. To me, that’s what is special about this spot. It’s right here in the open, and not many people know it exists. This beautiful spot will forever be special to Kaitlyn and Zach now, too.
