Biltmore Engagement Photos | Brittany + Brian Photoshoot Preview

Couple kissing with mountain views during Biltmore Engagement Photos

Fresh flower blooms, warm air, and a light breeze were a wonderful addition to this engagement photography session at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. Brittany and Brian were a ton of fun to capture, and doing so surrounded by beautiful architecture and gardens was simply perfect for these Biltmore engagement photos!

These two beauties share an incredible love. From the moment I met them I could tell they share a sweet and loving bond, have a ton of fun together, and are truly best friends. Their happy smiles and easy going vibes are refreshing and made for a very fun photo shoot!

When we arrived at Biltmore we met in the gardens for a centralized start to our session. This time of year the estate takes extra care in showing off their beautiful flowers, called Biltmore Blooms, and we wanted to take advantage of it. From talking with Brittany prior to our session I knew that she and Brian wanted a mix of mountain views, architecture, and beautiful landscape for their photos. There is truly no better place in Asheville to fulfill these requests, than Biltmore engagement photos.

Since I knew that mountain views were Brittany and Brian’s top priority for photos, we started our session on the terrace, adjacent to the Biltmore house. The cool breeze while high on the terrace was a lovely compliment to the warm air, and the cloud cover made for beautiful texture in the sky. Right away when we got started, Brittany and Brian did a fantastic job in front of my lens. They stayed loose and relaxed, and shared sweet moments with lots of laughter, all while surrounded by the immense beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Biltmore.

As we wound our way back through the gardens for more Biltmore engagement photos, we stopped along the way capturing these two lovebirds under the pergola and in the walled garden. The tulips and other bulbs in the walled garden were in perfect bloom, providing incredible pops of color behind Brittany and Brian. At times, it felt like I was capturing a fairytale!

From here we hopped in the car and drove to the lagoon area to finish our session. I wanted to surprise them with the view of the Biltmore house from the north end of the lagoon, perfectly framed in the tree limbs. Both Brittany and Brian had changed their outfits on the way, and Brittany’s dress gave us a perfect contrast and pop from the more muted colors by the lagoon. We could not have planned it better if we tried!

Capturing Brittany and Brian’s love in photographs during these Biltmore engagement photos was a ton of fun. I could not have asked for a more beautiful spring day. Congratulations Brittany and Brian! I cannot wait to document your big day through wedding photography at The Foundry Hotel in Asheville this October!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review from Brittany + Brian – “Jessica is awesome! My fiancé and I are doing a destination wedding in Asheville this fall and I had no idea where to begin to try to find a photographer that would make everything so simple being far away. After booking her we decided to do the drive from Columbus, OH for a weekend getaway and Jessica did our engagement photos and they turned out amazing. I can only imagine how beautiful our wedding photos will be!
Jessica is very responsive and answers all questions in a timely manner. I definitely recommend working with her as she makes you feel extremely comfortable and is so personable.
Thank you JMP for providing not only great photos thus far, but also making recommendations for other aspects of our wedding!”
