The NC Arboretum Wedding Photography | Molly & Amber

Molly and Amber shared an amazing wedding day at The North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville, NC with family and friends! Mother Nature provided sprinkles of best wishes, family offered heartfelt words with heirlooms to carry down the aisle, and love and laughter was abundant! I loved capturing this NC Arboretum wedding!

In the months leading up to Molly and Amber’s wedding day, I got more and more excited for them! I enjoyed every email, phone call, and meeting with these two beautiful souls, and could not wait to capture their big day! They are two amazing people, and I hope nothing more than for them to live happily together!

The day of their wedding was a typical hot summer July day in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Afternoon thunderstorms were in the forecast and the humidity was high. The NC Arboretum was set up beautifully for their ceremony in the Heritage Garden with the gazebo as the altar, red rose petals lined the aisle, and white rose petals were sprinkled on the ground throughout the area. It was a magical space made even more special by Amber and Molly’s vision and final touches.

Before the ceremony I took time to photograph Molly getting ready, and Amber waiting with her bridesmaids and family. Both were overjoyed that their wedding day was finally here and that they were finally going to say “I do!” They each wanted nothing more than to be married to their best friend.

During the ceremony beautiful prayers were said, vows were heartfelt and funny, and Mother Nature blessed their marriage with a few good luck sprinkles. The moment that the sprinkles arrived felt overwhelmingly magical as Molly looked straight to the sky and smiled, while Amber paused and looked happily at Molly. It was as if they were kissed by a greater being, and felt it at the same moment.

Throughout the remainder of the day as we took wedding party photos and captured fun reception moments, Molly and Amber wore constant smiles. It was obvious to me that their day was perfect, and being surrounded by family and friends made it even more special.
