Y’all! I have to start by saying that this Hawkesdene summer wedding photography was so much fun! Family, friends, vendors, all of it! It was an absolute blast and an honor to be a part of Stephanie and Guy’s wedding day at Hawkesdene in Andrews, NC. Every detail was beautiful, and even Mother Nature congratulated them by sharing some raindrops on their big day!
From the moment I first spoke with Stephanie and Guy about their wedding, I knew it was going to be a ton of fun. The excitement in their voices and their naturally fun personalities revealed it right away. The two of them are constantly smiling, laughing, and sharing the sweetest of looks with one another. They truly love being together and I am so happy to have captured their big day for them!
Right from the start, Stephanie and Guy’s relationship was a ton of fun. Even their engagement was full of laughter! While at a thrift store shopping, Guy walked off to a different section of the store and said to Stephanie, “Hey, look what I found!” As she walked over he had an engagement ring in his hand, and Stephanie thought he had just found the ring in the store and was kidding with her! I can easily envision these two lovelies in that moment and I can see their giant smiles and love for one another simply beaming in that store!
On their wedding day the fun and love was no different. They had a blast with their wedding party, family members, and friends, and it was amazing to capture! From playing pool while getting ready, to the love felt during their ceremony, and from fun wedding party photos to dancing the night away with guests, this wedding was a blast! Almost every guest was on the dance floor all night, the sparkler exit was loud and bright, just as it should be, and the fireworks display at the end of the night was simply perfect! This entire wedding day is something that many couples dream of, and Stephanie and Guy’s wedding dreams certainly did come true!
Hawkesdene is the perfect mountain wedding venue for family and friends to join in for a full wedding weekend with accommodations and activities for everyone! This crew had a great weekend together, with the highlight of Stephanie and Guy saying, “I do!” It was an absolutely beautiful wedding! Congratulations Stephanie and Guy!
