Biltmore Azalea Garden Photography | C & B Engagement

Couple kissing on bench in Biltmore Azalea Garden in Asheville, NC

Once a year, during the spring season, the Biltmore Azalea Garden blooms in an epic way. From pink and purple to white and red, Biltmore’s magnificent azalea blooms take over a large section of the gardens, and it is so incredibly beautiful! Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC is beautiful any time of the year. However, I highly recommend a visit during spring!

In this area of Biltmore Estate’s gardens, there are winding pathways, tall trees, and a trickling creek. It’s such a lovely area to wander and take in all that spring has to offer. I love visiting this garden in the evening when the guests are few and the light settles low in the sky. It’s a perfect time to take in all that the Biltmore Azalea Garden has to offer!

When I visit the gardens at Biltmore Estate, I love to park in Lot A or Lot B, and take my time wandering through all the gardens, down to the Bass Pond and waterfall. I start by walking past the house, through the Italian Garden, Shrub Garden, Walled Garden, and Spring Garden. Then I head farther down the hill through the Biltmore Azalea Garden, taking in the gorgeous blooms this time of year. After that, I walk along the creek down to the Bass Pond, and finally down below the pond to the waterfall. It is all so beautiful! And since there are many winding pathways at Biltmore Estate, on my way back up the hill to my vehicle, I take a different pathway to see other plants, trees, and wildlife. I love spending a late afternoon or evening here!

Recently, I captured Celeste and Robbie’s engagement photos in the gardens at Biltmore Estate, and so many flowers and bushes were in full bloom! Everywhere I turned, pops of color were filling my view! We spent a lot of our time in the Biltmore Azalea Garden and it’s easy to see why! The azalea garden was in full bloom, we went in the late afternoon and had the place to ourselves, and Celeste and Robbie are a lovely couple to have had in front of my lens!

We also spent some time capturing some of their engagement photos while we wandered through the tulips in the Walled Garden, the blooming bushes in the Shrub Garden, and, of course, in front of Biltmore House! I had such a blast with Celeste and Robbie. It was truly a fairy tale, and I adored capturing their love and fun loving spirits in this gorgeous place!

Garden photo shoots make my heart happy! Being an Asheville photographer allows me to capture beautiful photos of my clients in gorgeous places like Biltmore Azalea Garden at Biltmore Estate!
