From high in the mountains of Cashiers, NC, Claudia and Davis hosted the sweetest intimate event, their Old Edwards Club wedding. Their love and connection shined throughout the day, and I absolutely loved how their friends and family surrounded them with support and celebration!
When Claudia first contacted me to talk about wedding photography for their Old Edwards Club wedding, she told me that she and Davis don’t love being in the spotlight, and that this area of North Carolina is very special to them. She said that they wanted to keep their wedding small and simple, and in a place that holds meaning. I loved this! To me, small and simple translates to intentional and meaningful, and that’s exactly what Claudia and Davis had- an intentional and meaningful wedding day, surrounded by their family and closest friends, all in a place that is absolutely beautiful and incredibly special to them. Honestly, I can’t think of anything else to wish for!
An Old Edwards Club wedding at Old Edwards Inn and Spa is such an amazing choice for a Cashiers, NC wedding venue. Since Old Edwards Club sits right in the mountains, it’s private, quiet, beautiful, and has absolutely stunning mountain views. The outdoor ceremony space is tucked into a secluded spot overlooking the golf course and mountains, which is perfect for a couple who doesn’t love the spotlight. The reception space is bright yet cozy, and is the perfect setting for an intimate candle lit dinner like Claudia and Davis hosted. Plus, this is all available within a short 2 to 3 hour drive from multiple cities like Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Greenville, SC, Asheville, NC and more, making it an easy destination wedding location!
One of the amazing parts of hosting an Old Edwards Club wedding is that the couple has access to the golf course for wedding photos. Since this is a large and hilly golf course, we can drive golf carts to a few places along the course and capture epic wedding photos with long range mountain views of western North Carolina. It’s a wonderful way to really capture the beauty of the area while showing off a couple’s love and connection in their wedding photos. Plus, it’s a perfect option for couples to get away from the rush of the day and spend some time together!
In a beautiful place that holds very special meaning to them, this gorgeous couple shared an incredible wedding day with each other, family, and close friends. I love witnessing love, and I love it even more when a couple chooses an Old Edwards Club wedding that suits them perfectly!
