Highland Brewery Wedding Photographer | Lauren + Chris Wedding Photos Preview

This fun loving couple shared their big day with family and friends at Highland Brewery Wedding event center in Asheville, NC! We had a beautiful winter day with lots of laughs, emotions, sweet moments, and an amazing sunset view from the rooftop!

Lauren and Chris chose Asheville for their destination wedding because it’s one of their favorite places to spend time together! They love the chill mood, good beer, and amazing food that this area has to offer. Highland Brewing’s event center was a perfect choice for their wedding and to have all of their favorite things in one place!

Winter weddings are unique and I love everything about them! From the cool air to the bare trees, a winter wedding provides a calm and cozy feeling that doesn’t happen other times of the year. On this particular day the weather was beautiful. The air temperature was about 55 degrees, the sun was shining, and the breeze was cool. It truly couldn’t have been a better winter day for a Highland Brewery wedding!

When I arrived at Highland Brewing I connected with Lauren, Chris, and their families, to see how the day was going and if I could help in any way. Everything was on schedule and everyone was excited for this wedding! I took a few minutes to walk around and see where all of the events were taking place, and checked on the light in certain areas that Lauren wanted photos. One of the unique places Lauren was excited about was in the brew room. Here there are dozens of pallets of empty beer cans waiting to be filled. The pallets of cans provide a huge backdrop for photos, and this is where Lauren wanted to have their first look. I loved the idea! It’s something that provided photos unique to Lauren and Chris on their wedding day!

Another area that Lauren wanted photos for her Highland Brewery wedding was on the rooftop. From the rooftop there are expansive views of the mountains to the south and west, especially in the winter when there are no leaves on the trees. It’s gorgeous! With the beautiful weather that day we were able to photograph at sunset on the rooftop for some more unique winter wedding photos!

Throughout the day Lauren and Chris spent a lot of their time mingling with their favorite people over good beer and fun music. This is exactly how they described their Highland Brewery wedding vision to me, and I’m so happy that they got exactly what they wanted!
