This beautiful couple chose our mountains here in western North Carolina for their West Asheville chapel elopement! Set in a gorgeous back yard garden with its intimate indoor space, Keri and Nathan shared hand written vows, a few tears, and lots of love on their wedding day.

When I first spoke to Keri and Nathan about their elopement photography they were very relaxed, yet excited. They wanted their elopement to truly be about them and their unique love. For their wedding day they chose to come to Asheville by themselves. No relatives, no friends, just the two of them celebrating their bond and future together. They kept their day very intimate, with only witnesses, an officiant, and me to capture it all. The chapel itself fit perfectly into their day as it is small, cozy, and emits the feelings of support and love.

During the ceremony Keri and Nathan read their hand written vows to one another with amazing truths and amazing heart. They shared sweet looks, smiles, and tears with each other. They squeezed each others hands, felt each others love, and truly put their hearts and souls into their wedding ceremony. It was incredible to capture!

After the ceremony we took some time to capture wedding photos around the gardens at West Asheville Garden Retreat and Sanctuary. From the rose garden to the terraced yard, Keri and Nathan walked the property hand in hand with big smiles and loving looks. Their day was exactly how they envisioned it and it was beyond beautiful.

Congratulations, Keri + Nathan, your West Asheville chapel elopement was beautiful!
