Highland Lake Inn Wedding Photography | Jessy + Matt

This fall Highland Lake Inn wedding at Highland Lake Inn & Resort in Flat Rock, NC was definitely one for the books! We had the most beautiful fall day with almost peak fall color on an incredibly gorgeous mountain property! I am so excited to share these photos with you!

Jessy and Matt are like many other couples in this year of 2020. Their original wedding plans completely fell through forcing them to change their wedding date and venue, along with their guest list, wedding day wants, and much more. Honestly though, had Jessy not shared that information with me, I would have never known it. Jessy and Matt’s wedding was absolutely beautiful, elegant, and detailed. It was so well put together that anyone not involved in the planning would have no idea that this gorgeous wedding was created in less than two months! Jessy’s vision coupled with the top notch vendors that she chose made for an amazing wedding day! Plus, many of the details on this day, like the ceremony and cocktail hour musicians being friends of the couple, were very personal, which made it even more special!

One of Jessy’s Highland Lake Inn wedding day dreams was for photos by the water with lots of fall color and a gorgeous fall wedding bouquet. Even though they are a couple whose big day was changed because of COVID, she got her wish! Mother Nature set this fall season of change up perfectly for Jessy and Matt’s wedding, and Jessy’s dream came true! With the help of Flowers by Larry who created her incredible wedding bouquet, it was all amazing!! I am so excited and happy for these two!
