Laughing Waters NC Wedding Photography Near Asheville, NC | Kelsey + TJ Wedding Preview

This waterfall wedding at Laughing Waters NC event venue in Gerton, NC over the weekend was incredible! Kelsey + TJ asked their favorite people to stand with them on the shore of Hickory Creek while they said their vows to one another. It was beyond beautiful and I absolutely loved capturing their big day!

When I arrived at Laughing Waters NC event venue it was a true fall day. The air was cool, the sun was peeking through the trees, and the leaves were starting to change in this area of Hickory Nut Gap. It was honestly the most amazing fall day to be married while surrounded by such beautiful nature! Their choice of ceremony spots was amazing, too. They chose to be married on the rocks in Hickory Creek while their guests gathered around them on shore. It was an immersive experience and I loved it!

Throughout the entire day Kelsey and TJ could not stop smiling. They both were so very happy to share this monumental day with their favorite people at Laughing Waters NC! From Kelsey getting ready with her parents and mother in law to be, to TJ hanging out with his Dad before the ceremony, to both of them being intentional and spending time with everyone at their reception, it was a fabulous day!

Another one of my favorite parts of the day was when Kelsey + TJ waded across the creek hand in hand through freezing cold water to start their marriage off with a bang! Seriously, the commitment this shows to one another is incredible! It was a beautiful moment to capture!

As you can see, Kelsey and TJ had a fabulous wedding day in Gerton, NC at Laughing Waters NC event venue. Their day was a perfect fit for them, and it was an honor to be their wedding photographer!
