– Location
We have many amazingly beautiful locations here in Asheville and western NC to consider for your engagement proposal. From mountain tops with long range views to cute and cozy nooks at Biltmore Estate, we truly have something for everyone in this area, and I am happy to provide location recommendations based on your wishes!
When considering a location to propose, it’s important to think about a few things-
— How private do you want it to be? Zero people around, a few people nearby are okay, or is even a large number of people around fine?
Tips:
-Proposing on a weekday will provide smaller crowds almost anywhere, while weekends are busier.
-Just because a general location can be busy (think Biltmore Estate or Max Patch) doesn’t mean that we can’t find a quiet spot for you to propose.
-Be sure to consider your partner and their level of comfort when it comes to thinking about privacy!
— What type of scenery do you want to be surrounded by? Mountain views, waterfall, historic estate, creek or lake, flowers, etc? Is there a location style that you’ve always dreamed of, or something that’s meaningful to the two of you?
– Time of Day
There are many things to consider when deciding on a time of day to propose-
— Do you want to propose early so that you can celebrate all day? Or do you want to propose in the evening and head straight to a romantic dinner after?
Tips:
-Proposing just after sunrise or just before sunset provides the most beautiful and soft light of the day for you, and for your once in a lifetime photographs. Think little to no squinting and dreamy soft light!
-Asking your big question early in the day or late in the day often helps to avoid crowds at typically busier places.
For an elaborate and grand proposal, consider-
– Vision
The ideas are endless! From a picnic in a field to a grand setup of memorabilia and promises of the future, no idea is too big for engagement proposal planning Asheville!
